The surface of board products is pretty rough – is there any way to make it smoother?
There are many finishing options available when it comes to wood pulp board: Varnish and lacquer will make board more resistant against scratches and abrasive wear, while an acrylic or epoxy resin will make it very sturdy and tough. Meanwhile, film and foil lamination will provide it with a smooth and waterproof surface.

Is wood pulp board stable enough for my product idea?
Its large volume means that our board products are already incredibly stable in and of themselves. But if you want to make them even more solid, resin, varnish, or lacquer will all do that. And by using a multi-layer structure, you can get a heavy-duty composite structure similar to that of plywood.
