The FSC seal of quality from the Forest Stewardship Council guarantees that products come from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources. It is recognized worldwide by companies, consumers, environmental organizations, and governments.

The PEFC seal of quality stands for sustainable, careful, and responsible forest management. Only companies with this seal of quality are allowed to sell wood or wood products as being PEFC-certified.

Occupational health and safety” refers to all measures that protect employees from work accidents, occupational illnesses, and other work-related health hazards. The Koehler Management System is an essential part of the company’s business policy, and one of its key elements is our commitment to ensuring the physical integrity of all our team members. We do not want any work accidents and we cannot tolerate any laxity on our behalf in that regard, and accordingly make every effort to achieve this goal at all our sites.

The ISO 14001 standard focuses on a continuous improvement process as a tool for achieving defined objectives in regard to a company’s environmental performance. KATZ has been certified in conformity with DIN EN ISO 14001 since 2013 in this area.

EN ISO 9001 defines minimum requirements for a quality management system (QM system) that an organization must meet in order to be able to provide products and services that meet customer expectations and any applicable official requirements. KATZ has been certified in conformity with DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2013 in this area.

ISO 50001 describes a standard that is applicable worldwide and that is intended to help organizations set up systematic energy management practices. Systematic energy management practices include not only energy data management and the implementation of individual technical measures, but also, and above all, strategic and organizational management approaches. KATZ has been certified in conformity with DIN EN ISO 50001 since 2012 in this area.
